The Lovely Collection by Sarah Jessica Parker

Sarah Jessica Parker is expanding her collection of fragrances: the latest addition is a serie of three perfumes named The Lovely Collection: Dawn, Endless and Twilight. Sarah Jessica hopes that the new fragrances will be “more personal and accessible (than her old fragrances), because I want them to feel like moments in life”.

Dawn is a soft floral developed by perfumer Stephen Nilsen. The notes include citrus cocktail, violet leaves, angelica, orchid, vanilla, orris, oakmoss, vetiver and translucent musk. Dawn is the fresh and clean scent. It’s inspiration was morning, sunrise. It’s about enjoying those few moments for yourself, stepping out and welcoming what the day has to bring your way.

This is the accompanying advertisement photo for Dawn:

Endless is a fruity floral by Yann Vasnier. The notes are pineapple, apple, ivy leaves, plum, peony, pink jasmine, magnolia, oakmoss, patchouli, sandalwood, vetiver and suede musks. Endless is the fruity, floral scent. The inspiration for this one was those moments you find yourself in a state of pure happiness, loving life.

Twilight is an ambery musk by perfumers Laurent Le Guernec and Clement Garvarry (the perfumers for the original Sarah Jessica Parker Lovely fragrance). The notes feature bergamot, galbanum, mandarin, pink pepper, peony, jasmine, amber, sandalwood, incense and musk. Twilight is the sexy, musky scent. This one is for those moments of intimacy, of love and being close.

The perfumes will be available in an amount of 30 and 75 ml. There will also be a perfumed bodylotion (200 ml).

Hmmm, I’m not impressed by the photos. The campaign for Covet (SJP smashing a shop window and ending up in jail) was so much more original. This seems a little bit dull….but maybe the fragrances smell great….
