Preview Zac Posen for Target

After looking at the pictures of the Jean Paul Gaultier for Target collection, I felt really disappointed. Nothing we haven’t seen before, and an average H&M collection looks even better. But fortunately the Zac Posen collection for Target shows how it’s supposed to be: on trend, fun, young and flirty. I love the first picture of the suit (tuxedo jacket $50), the pink polka dot dress ($40)  and another favourite is the black “snap tape” dress ($70). Love it!

The range will hit stores in the US and online from 25th April 2010.

Preview Jean Paul Gaultier for Target

A couple of weeks ago we posted about the upcoming Jean Paul Gaultier for Target collection. At the time we had no idea how the collection would turn out, but the images of the collection are finally here:

Personally, I’m not impressed. It seems really dated, like I could have worn this in the early nineties.  But maybe the nineties are back?

Jean Paul Gaultier’s line for Target will debut in stores and online on March 7, 2010.

Zac Posen for Target

Guess who the next designer for the Target Go International Collection will be? Vogue.co.uk announces that it’s Zac Posen.

Posen’s main signature is making very glamorous, feminine red carpet dresses, that are worn by celebrities like Natalie Portman, Beyoncé and Naomi Campbell. It will be interesting to see how this translates in his Target collection. His Ready-To-Wear collection for Spring 2010 had bright candy colours, a body hugging silhouette and geometric prints, so maybe this gives an indication about what to expect?

Rodarte for Target

Exciting news: Kate and and Laura Mulleavy from Rodarte are going to be the next guest designers for Target’s Go International line!  The 55 piece Rodarte for Target collection hits stores and target.com on December the 20th, staying through Februari the 6th. No sneak preview yet, but a  Target spokesman has said that the collection stays true to the Rodarte spirit: “What you’ll notice is an amazing eye for detail. It’s very feminine, yet very modern. The collection incorporates a rich mix of patterns and fabrications and everything from sequins and bows to faux fur. The key with Rodarte is layering.” The range in prices of the collection run from $9.99 for knee-highs to $79.99 for a leopard print jacket. Also included are a variety of holiday dresses. Can’t wait!
