Primark Fall 2010 Preview

More Autumn collection previews, this time it’s Primark. Primark sometimes has brilliant stuff for almost nothing, but this time it somehow doesn’t impress me. The collection seems a bit random, and honestly, a bit boring.  Pictures:

Cashmere fur collar coat £49, Stack heel platforms £15, Cable heart over the knee socks £1.50.

Gamine pleat tunic £15, Black tights £3, Lace and leather driving gloves £7, Stiletto pumps £10. The gloves are cute!

Leopard playsuit £13, Faux fur hobo £10, Oversized bead and cord necklace £5, Punch out hiking boots £20, Ribbed over the knee socks £1.50.

Navy military cape £25, Wet look legging £7, Chunky cable arm warmers £3, Grey over the knee socks £2, Black lace ankle boots £15.

Heart fob shorts £10,  Pussy bow blouse £10,  Ribbed over the knee socks £1.50,  Punch out hiking boots £20.

Fishnet crop top £8, Chocolate fur coat £27, Wet look biker legging £7, Lace court shoes £12, Black studded clutch £7. And the stylist did a very bad job.

Parka jacket £21, Military dress £13, Woven metal buckle belt £3, Punch out hiking boots £20, Ribbed over the knee socks £1.50.

Warehouse Fall 2010 Preview

One of my favorite stores, Warehouse, have given a preview of their Fall 2010 collection. It looks really good, I like the new ladylike knee lenght skirts, and yes, capes are having a comeback! And there’s a perfect leopard coat! Aaahhhh……..

Topshop Fall 2010 preview

Why is it that every time I think: ‘I have all the clothes I could ever dream of, my closet is perfect and from now on I’m going to start saving some cash’, then there’s Topshop with their new collection and I get the feeling I really, really, desperately need a ……… (name the uwearable trend of the season that my future grandchildren probably will find hilarious).

This Fall the cause of all this will be the Topshop collection. These are some of their Lookbook pictures, shot by Franck Sauvaire and styled by Katie Shillingford.

There are four subcollections:

  • Out Of The Wild:  A wild warrior girl in a post-apocalyptic world where fashion survivors battle the elements.
  • Dark Nouveau: A trip back in time to the dark ages, where the “sinister fairytales of the art nouveau movement” meet the dark and perverse images of illustrator Aubrey Beardsley.
  • Hi Performance: There’s another arty/conceptual description about this theme, but in normal language: sportswear.
  • The Outsiders: Mixes Britain’s heritage with modern fashion.

Love it!

Chloë Sevigny for Opening Ceremony Spring 2011

Oh, Chloë! Is there any girl in the world that has better personal style than her? Not only is she a personal favorite of mine, but at Opneing Ceremony they think the same, because there’s a third collection with her designs for the New York brand. It’s a ‘pre-spring’ 2011 collection (???) and it’s perfect, I want it all. This collection focusses around five prints:  leopard, polka dot, paisley, houndstooth and floral, and also contains matching tights. The prints that have been used are by photographer Robert Mapplethorpe.

Kate Moss for Topshop Summer 2010 Preview

Finally! After a disappointing collection of basic t-shirts and tops this spring, there’s a new, loveable Kate Moss for Topshop collection. A few pictures have leaked on the internet, and I like what I see. The Summer 2010 collection seems to have a romantic feeling: maxi dresses, floral prints, and pretty pastels are dominating the collection.

Instead of the usual promo stills, we can see Kate showing the collection in this video, shot by Nick Knight:

On sale this Thursday!
