Primark Fall 2010 Preview

More Autumn collection previews, this time it’s Primark. Primark sometimes has brilliant stuff for almost nothing, but this time it somehow doesn’t impress me. The collection seems a bit random, and honestly, a bit boring.  Pictures:

Preview: Primark Spring 2010

Some quick Primark gossip: First, the pictures of the spring collection are here. This season it’s very “English rose romantic”: lace shirts, florals prints and straw bags. I like it, but I will skip the denim on denim trend in the second picture (Yes, I know it’s very Chloe ss2010, but I bloody hate it. Die trend! Die!). 

And for all Dutch Primark lovers: a second store will be opened in the centre of Nijmegen in 2013!

Preview Primark Lingerie Collection Spring 2010

Primark is always great for buying stuff that looks great and costs (almost) nothing. Especially their lingerie department is always cheap and cheerfull. This spring the lingerie collection will be based upon four themes:

College Re-Union – a young and sporty collection, which focuses on cool cottons and adrogynous styling, think boxers and low-rise briefs, along with tongue-in-cheek slogans and sexy 70’s collegiate numbers.

Enchanted – the feminine, romantic range, it’s all nudes and pinks with lots of lace and ladylike styling.

Candy Shop – fun and playful, it draws inspiration from the 50’s with its ditzy florals and warm checks in soda pink, sherbert yellow, apple green and fresh mint.

Wayfarer – the sophisticated lot! Think nautical-inspired plains and stripes in red, white and blue.

Time to visit Rotterdam again!

Preview: Primark Fall 2009 Collection

Oooh, Primark……….isn’t it the most brilliant store ever? A week ago I was at Primark at Oxford Street, London, “just to take a look”. I left with three black dresses (one bow dress, a one shoulder dress, and a “space-age” dress), two greyish leopard peplum skirts, a retro print trenchcoat, two pairs of shoes (including silver snakeskin gladiator heels), a heart shaped bag, a belt, and lots of underwear. 🙂 The Fall 2009 clothes are too good to be true. As all highstreet collections, it is predominantly influenced by Balmain (the sequins, the shoulders, etc.) and it’s very sharp looking. Time to visit Rotterdam (or London) again soon ……..
